Magneto Wall Phone

Model or Identifier: Magneto Wall Phone

Manufacturer: Kellogg

Date: 1905

This phone is similar to the Western Electric Model # 317 , but it has a clover leaf base for the steel arm holding the microphone. The crank on the right side activates a magneto which was a generator of electric current that could be used to ring a distant bell.
