Crystal Set Classes
Here's a fun family activity! The museum offers group classes in building a classic crystal set reminiscent of the earliest days of radio. It's a fun activity that teaches how radio works while kids and parents work together to construct a working radio that's theirs to keep. Scouts can earn a merit badge for taking part. We offer classes, advice and assistance for anyone interested in learning about or becoming a ham radio operator.
