About Us

Since 1991, the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut has been educating the young and old about the history of electronic communications, with a particular focus on Connecticut's contrbutions to that development.

But it's been a rocky road, with hundreds of thousands of hours put in by hard working volunteers. To get a sense of where we've been, read our history. It's quite a saga!

Our museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit, recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service. We currently have a small volunteer board handingl the day-to-day business of the museum and are looking to expand the board to bring in a new perspective to move us forward into the 21st Century.
